On June 2 at 10:30 pm Bill Ennis left this earth and promptly arrived in Heaven. II Corinthians 5:8 ...to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Billy, Natalie, Glenda, Tim and Bonni were all here to wish him well on his journey. Our sadness is beyond words but our joy is overwhelming-the suffering is over.

Thank you all, friends and family, for your love and support for us and for our dad and husband.
-Bonni, Billy and Glenda

Bill Ennis is truly an icon of American Deaf Culture, warm, funny and very dear to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Glenda, sorry to read of your loss. While I do not know you personally my great-aunt Mary Miller knows you. She is almost 90 yr. old and deaf. Tonight she came up and asked me to see if I could find a Dodie Ennis. She gave me a letter you had written her in Feb 1993. I was trying to find your husband's name and sure enough...you talked about your great husband Bill in the letter :-) After searching for a bit on google I came across Bill's obituary. I printed it out and gave it to her. She was sad and dismayed to hear the news. She would love to get back in contact with you. I have given her your addresses that were included in the obituary. Feel free to contact me at emailestate@gmail.com
